Motherwell Investments Limited is a Uganda-based investment and advisory holding company officially registered in 2024. Though recently incorporated, the company draws on years of collective experience from its leadership team in investment advisory, project management, grant mobilization, and institutional capacity building.

Motherwell exists to unlock value across Africa’s development and business landscape by offering tailored investment, transaction advisory, and grant management solutions. With a clear focus on impact and sustainability, the company works closely with SMEs, development partners, higher education institutions, and social enterprises.

Key Projects and Partnerships

Motherwell  Investments Limited has delivered services and built partnerships across multiple sectors. Our portfolio includes:

  1. Supporting universities in Uganda with the development of financial sustainability strategies and fundraising plans targeting bilateral donors and philanthropic foundations.
  2. Working with community-based organizations to design and submit successful grant proposals for agriculture, youth employment, and education projects.
  3. Providing transaction advisory support to SMEs in agribusiness, manufacturing, and services sectorsacross East Africa.
  4. Partnering with international NGOs and donor agencies on project design, monitoring, and evaluation assignments.

Leadership Team

Motherwell Investments Limited is led by a highly experienced leadership team with backgrounds in finance, grant management, project design, and institutional capacity building.

Key Management Team:

Mr. Kayongo Paul Mark – Executive Director

Provides strategic leadership and oversees partnerships and client relationships across all business units.

Mr. Peter Clinton Mutumba – Head of Finance & Transaction Advisory Lead

Leads the company’s transaction advisory and investment structuring mandates. Brings a strong background in financial modeling and private sector financing.

Ms. Hellen Nambalirwa – Lead, Partnerships & Collaborations / Research and Grants Unit Coordinator

Oversees the Research and Grants Unit, leading client engagement, proposal development, and project management for grant-funded assignments.

The leadership team is supported by a network of technical consultants with expertise in finance, MEL, proposal writing, and sector-specific project management.
