About Us
Motherwell Investments Limited is a Uganda-based investment and advisory holding company officially registered in 2024. Though recently incorporated, the company draws on years of collective experience from its leadership team in investment advisory, project management, grant mobilization, and institutional capacity building.
Motherwell exists to unlock value across Africa’s development and business landscape by offering tailored investment, transaction advisory, and grant management solutions. With a clear focus on impact and sustainability, the company works closely with SMEs, development partners, higher education institutions, and social enterprises.

Motherwell offers comprehensive transaction advisory services to SMEs, development finance institutions (DFIs), impact investors, and government agencies. Our role is to help businesses become investment-ready and successfully navigate the capital-raising process.
Research and Grants Unit – Our Flagship Division
Recognizing the critical role of grant funding in catalyzing development impact, Motherwell Investments Limited has positioned the Research and Grants Unit as a flagship division within the company.
This unit specializes in supporting development organizations, and social enterprises to access, and report on donor-funded projects.

Lookwell Investments Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Motherwell Investments Limited, strategically headquartered in Zambia but with a regional operational mandate that extends into high-impact projects across Africa. Its core focus lies in sustainable development ventures, with a strong emphasis on renewable energy, environmental management, and circular economy solutions.
3. Motherwell School (Uganda) – Subsidiary
An educational institution under the group, Motherwell School is dedicated to providing quality education and shaping the next generation of leaders. It contributes to the group’s social impact goals while also being a key revenue-generating arm in Uganda.
